We cannot give legal advice on this forum.Best thing would be to consult a lawyer then inform the BON's of the respective States.

I need some help with my decision i was recently convicted of my first and last DUI i am ashamed and embarassed about it, Im one of those that never drinks and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, I have been a nurse for 12 years with no discipline noted. i plan to tell the BON in the 2 states i am licensed in but should i consult a lawyer first or just call the board and let them know so i can get my punishment from them. Anyone with expirience with what my punishment will be in Ohio and Virginia BON? I dont wanna lose my license i love being a nurse , I just wanna get this over soon as possible and in the past.
