I am 90% sure i want to go to nursing school. I am 47 and need to get started no later than Jan 07. I have an Associates in Liberal Arts. My husband is ill and can no longer work, so I need a good career. i am tired of working 2 jobs with 60 plus hours a week and still not being able to make ends meet. I used most of my pell grant money getting the Associates in 2002. What is the best way to get schooling paid for, and is it better to co op with a hospital or take courses through a career center etc. I live in Dayton Ohio. Also, i have heard that there is a 2 year waiting period for most programs - is that true? At 47 I really can't afford to wait. I would greatly appreciate any direction - a big TKS...shan
