Hello all. I’m currently a BSN student going into my junior year, during this past semester I failed one of my nursing courses by .5 points! Very upsetting since I have not failed any courses prior. I am currently in a grade appeal and the dean is reviewing everything, my chances of getting the passing grade after my meeting seem decent. However, I want out of my current school for many reasons, one being the 2 hour commute. I want to apply for schools in my area however, with a current D+ on my transcript I am not applying.
My question is do I wait until my appeal is final, or do I apply to schools now even with the D+ to meet the deadlines? I feel even with a High TEAS score, I will still struggle with that grade! Anyone been in this boat?
