Need some advice/help

Hello everyone, I need some advice

Background: Graduated May 2023 (BSN), passed NCLEX July 2023. Started first new grad residency job on medical/oncology-palliative floor in Dec 2023 and quit in Feb 2024. I quit because speciality just wasn't for me. I have always wanted to work in PACU or OR, if I am not able to get into those, I will look for Ortho units.

Currently still unemployed :(, currently applying to other New grad residencies.  In my resume should I still include my previous job even though I worked for only 2 months? I  don't want them to think from May of 2023 to now I haven't been working. Should I still include my clinical rotations in my resume due to lack of experience?

In my cover letter should I talk about why I left my previous job ? Should I include skills I learned from my previous job?  I had my preceptorship in the PACU during senior year, should I talk about skills/knowledge I gained from that even though its been a year ? thank you !
