Hey! I just took my nclex today and took the whole 265 questions... i read somewhere that if your last question is above the level of difficulty needed to pass (like priority), you pass. I know my last question was a priority question. I just don't know if this has happened to someone or if someone knows if it true or not. I am freaking out here!!!!! Please help!!

Hi I took kaplan and the instructors said that u could pass at 265 just as easly as someone that only got 75 questions. What have you heard about test format and passing?

I took kaplan too. In the book somewhere, they explain the difference between someone failing at 265 and someone passing a 265. They said it is based on your last question, if you go all the way to 265 and if your last question is above the level of difficulty needed to pass, the candidate passes. I was just wondering if anyone knew someone who went to 265 and their last question was above the level needed and passed like the book said.

hi erinboud!

i also had 265 Qs! i tried to recall the last question i answered.... but i can't remember. haha!

I passed it with flying colors!

What I know (acc. to a reliable source) about pass or fail decisions is the ff:

If the test taker is administered the maximum number of questions (265 Qs), the computer will make pass or fail decision by recomputing the test taker's final ability level, based on every question answered, and comparing it with passing standard. If the ability level is above the passing standard, the test taker passes.

Goodluck to you! I hope you got fruitful results! :roll

wow...do you have any tips for me? i want to take the exam as well but i just don't know what topics to review on..
