NCLEX-RN

Any workshop, books, or resources for preparing for NCLEX-RN other than program material. Just finish Excelsior stressful clinical exam; any body here finish this program know of the long wait and due to this reason; the assessment tool provided upon completion (program material ATI) that I haven't gain access to start yet. Need additional material or workshop that aid with success. Reply anyone......

I used UWorld and Saunders NCLEX study guide, both have been extremely useful for me and I passed the NCLEX just last month. My school used ATI, but I did not find it particularly helpful. UWorld had a similar format to the NCLEX and had detailed explanations.

Good luck!!

Thanks! I just did research on it. Unlimited questions?

How soon did you start your application for BON after last nursing course?

How soon did you start your application for BON after last nursing course?

UWorld is about 1000 questions and 2 practice exams. I finished all 1000 questions but didn't do the practice exams, but I still passed. I believe it was $100 for 3 months?

I started my BORN application during my last semester before I even graduated and took the NCLEX, my school required me too.

Thanks for response. So, should I start my application now with Board of nursing? My school advisor recommend but I dont know how long the application is held. I have to finish 50% of ATI before my paperwork is sent to BON. I just completed and want have ATI access until a week or so. I'm worried I will start an app. and ATI takes me longer. I would hate to submit an app than it lapse and I have to repeat process. Based on your experience, you recommend starting application process with BON now (early)? Im gonna contact BON to verify. I'm in Texas and any advice and support from experiences helps. :)

@flightmed I graduated in December 2017, and passed boards on Feb 7th, her in AZ. We were given our BoN applications and Pearson Vue info about 2 months before the end of the semester. We were told that's the earliest we are allowed to submit our applications. They can take up to 6-8 weeks to process! Also, our BoN applications are good for like 280 (+/-) days. And Pearson Vue is for a show 365 days. Hope this helps. Che with your BoN.

Awesome! Thanks for your response. Helped!!!!! í ½í¸‰
