NCLEX-RN

Hi everyone,

I have two questions.

First, I take the NCLEX in a week and a half and I am located in CA which does not have the option for quick results. So I would like to try the pop up (although I've heard it is not always accurate) My question is how long to I have to wait after leaving the NCLEX to try this?

Second, for those of you who have taken Kaplan, do you feel it is easier/harder/or the same as the NCLEX. I find it very challenging and my scores are inconsistent. I am almost finished with all Kaplan recourses, I am using the Saunders book, and have done Hurst and am re-reviewing it. Despite all of that I still feel like I am not sure if I am ready. I can not push my date out though because I have a great job waiting for me and I need to test asap to be able to start this job.

Thanks for your responses friends!

I am taking it in 2 weeks. I am very nervous. I am having a lot of trouble being confident.

Don't believe the hype that NCLEX is a two-headed monster. It's not easy, but it's not that hard. Getting yourself all anxious and worked up is a recipe for disaster. Relax.
