NCLEX Question

Hello all. After graduating I took a job while i was studying for the nclex and got hurt. Fast forward 1.5 years and I am only now able to study for the exam and sit for it. I am super out of practice and wanted to see what everyone thinks is the best way to get ready for the exam. I would say that currently I am less than confident with my knowledge so a pretty comprehensive review seems appropriate?

hi there, welcome. If you scroll through this forum for a bit you'll see lots of different study guides discussed, different review programs, it'll give you an idea of what each is like. Some people do really well with a book format and some prefer the computer programs that mimic what the actual NCLEX looks like. My personal thought is that if you haven't been in a classroom in a year and a half, maybe an in-person live review would be beneficial. It would at least give you a chance to ask questions when topics come up with answers that might be different than what you remember and it would give you the opportunity to find out if you just need to review something more or if there has been an actual change in protocols in the last 1.5 years. Good luck!
