me too i'm taking nclex tomorrow..feel nervous, i dont know what i do...this is my 2nd time to take it..

what state u gonna take ur test?

@ yhan86, My test is in Tennessee. I took it 2 days ago & am almost positive I failed it. I will be getting my quick results today so I will know for sure then but I have already started studying to take it again! : ( It was definitely the most difficult/hardest test I've ever taken. I know I wasn't as prepared as I needed to be so next time I will at least know what to expect! : ) Hope you did well on yours!!!

I think the best thing I did was review and memorized my cheat sheet which is posted in my thread. That actually HELPED me out A LOT... lets just say I had well over 40+ questions (maybe more) out of 75 questions on those topics. Just understand it... GL

I took mine two months ago and passed I only used Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Edition five I also used the Q&A book. There are lots of select all that apply questions so practice these on the CD's. My Examination was 75 questions in 109 minutes and I passed! I prayed also:)

I just found your link to the cheat sheet & it is awesome!! Great info!! & THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT! I'm going to print it off & start memorizing. I keep checking pearsonvue for my "quick results" but they're not available yet. I did the "trick" everyone talks about on here by going into the pearsonvue web site & trying to register for the exam again & it does let me get to the credit card page (which as everyone has said, means you've failed). As you mentioned in your post about the exam...there is no way to study for everything they throw at you! I thought the same thing,...there were some questions that I had never even heard of the med, much less the disease the med was used for. This threw me for a loop. Anyway...THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR POST & "CONGRATULATIONS ON PASSING THIS BEAST!!" lol!!

@Jennastef...CONGRATS ON PASSING!! That's awesome! I think that was my problem....I didn't utilize what I had to study & prepare for the NCLEX. The school I went to used the ATI assessment all through the program but when I graduated I didn't go back & study because I was so 'over' studying (If that makes sense!) I'm an older student (44) & have so much going on w/my family. I did go to a few tutoring sessions but I honestly did not apply it like I should have. As disappointing as it is to have to take it again,...I at least know what to expect. I had "alot" of medication questions & that is my biggest weakness (that & ABG's) so I have started today studying "Pharmacology Made Insanely Easy" (a book I had to have during school) & I also have an NCLEX-RN Q/A book from Lippincott that one of my professors recommended that I'm going to start working on too. I have ordered "Pearson Reviews & Rationales: Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN to study as well. "Hopefully" this will better prepare me for next time. I accessed a link on here earlier w/some great study info. on it & will use that as well. If you have any other recommendations let me know! I can use all the help I can get! : )
