NCLEX Myths?

One of my classmates recently announced that one individual in each NCLEX session must receive 265 questions. I found info on the NCLEX website refuting that claim.

What else have you heard that has turned out to be a myth, or that you're wondering about? Maybe we can put some of these 'urban legends' to rest....

I have never heard that one before.

I've heard that before. I just took NCLEX RN on July 1, and of the cycle of new nurses I was in orientation w/ and graduated with, I actually had heard this more than once. ONe person claimed that a friend of hers took the exam, and was told by the pearson vue staff that a computer was set to 265.

I personally think its hooey

two myths i hear most- if you get 75 questions you probably passed, if you get 265 you probably failed.
