I just took the NCLEX and passed with 265 questions! It feels like such a relief to not have to worry about this exam. This was my second time taking it, so I am very grateful for the passing grade. This is what worked for me to pass:
1. Reading Saunders. I went to Staples and had the book broken down into smaller sections and binded so it was easier to carry around and read. I read two to three sections a day. Highlighted stuff that I needed to know and then typed up notes.
2. Kaplan Qbank: did every question and reviewed right an wrong answers.
3. Made note cards of things to remember: lab values, hyperkalemia, hypoparathyroid, etc...and reviewed and studied this
4. Make sure you know standard, contact, airborne, and droplet precautions.
5. Review Growth and Development.
