NCLEX Experience Today

Hi everyone,

I tested today. I walked to the testing center (it's just a few blocks from my home) and as soon as I got there, I was processed and taken in. The center was pretty comfortable--people were nice and everything was easy to navigate on the computer.

My questions began and all I can say is...they were BIZARRE. Not really hard bizarre, but sort of vague....but then very detailed answers. I had trouble deciding about some of the questions. Lots of priority and delegation and exhibit. My exam shut off at 75 . I got the "good " pop up a few hours later.

Now here's the thing. While I was doing my exam I got two extremely low level complete "content " questions. When I say "low level", I mean...to the level where your younger brother taking a high school bio class could answer. I did not need to go to nursing school to answer these two questions. Now the questions were not one after the other, but they were obviously in the first 75. This made me NERVOUS. I am not sure if I passed because of these two questions. If I had gotten over 100 questions with two content questions, I could see where I may have passed, but with 75? I don't know.

I have been studying daily for 8 weeks--Sanders (whole book), UWorld, Hurst and Lippincott Prep U. My scores in Uworld were 62%, PrepU--level 7 with having done 500 questions (level 8 is the highest and there are 10K Qs in the bank). I did really well in nursing school (although quality of teaching was not always top notch)...that said, I worked hard to learn things on my own, worked in a hospital, and attended lectures to learn more where I could.

So I don't know if anyone has any advice...obviously with the good pop up, I feel ....OK..but nothing will be official until quick results but honestly I feel I bombed it!
