Hi guys,
I graduated with my BSN in May and took the NCLEX for the first time in July. I was really distracted, and did not studying nearly as much as I needed to. The test took me to #265 but unfortunately I failed. After the initial grief period I decided to get back into the swing of things. I completed the entire Kaplan course, doing approximately 3,000 questions. I also read the entire content review book. I went through my Hurst review book and made notes on what I didn't know. I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX for the second time in a few days and wanted to know if anyone had any advice? I'm still doing practice questions and reviewing material, but as the test approaches I'm starting to get very anxious and less confident. I have a job waiting for me, and I really don't want to lose it. Anyways, if you had any last minute advice I would appreciate it! Thanks :)

It sounds like you have prepared well for your next attempt. At this point I would probably focus on answering questions r/t the areas you needed to improve on from your last attempt (weak areas) and review test taking strategies. The day before your exam I would lightly study or don't study at all. Give yourself a mental break and try to have a fun day...take your mind off of the exam.
A big issue is over thinking questions...don't read into anything....if it is not in the question it didn't happen! Good luck.
