I am about to take NC 4 again on 4-28. I failed this one last summer and have put it off until just about my last test. If I do not pass this time, I will not be able to take it for 4 more months. Any tips/advice???? I am really nervous and am not used to failing grades. What is the most important part of this test. By the way, I am using Chancellors study guides for my tests.
Thanks!

Paula- send me an email to [email protected], and I will send you attachments of the study materials I used. I got an A on NC4. Know those Cardio drugs- I had lots of cardio drug questions on my exam.
I'm having brainfarts with my postings today- I keep forgetting things...lol. Also know Resp. Acidosis/Alkalosis, etc. like the back of your hand. I used the Med/Surg Nursing Made Incredibly Easy study CD-Rom disc for this exam, and it was extremely helpful. It has study questions for respiratory, cardio, etc. on it with rationales. It was $65, but it was well worth the money, and I was able to re-sell it on Ebay for most of what I paid for it. You can get it on Amazon.com, and can use it for NC 5 & 6 as well.

I used my NCLEX PN study guide for everyone of the nc exams and passed everyone the 1st time with a B. I found that taking the content area tests on the cd that came with the study guide and reviewing the specific sections the most helpful study guide!! Good luck. Know the fetal circulatory system, too.
