In which part of California are you located? It would be nonsensical to suggest a nursing program in the Central Valley if you are located in San Diego or elsewhere.

Hello, I will be starting at the Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health LVN-RN program next Tuesday, YAY!! The summer transition semester is 5 weeks long Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 0700 til about 1200 the first two weeks then 0700 until 1530 the last 3 weeks. The clinicals start the third week and that time is included. They gave us the fall schedule as well and this will be 4 days/week. Mondays and Thursdays are theory days and are from 0700-1200. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are clinical days from 0700-1530. I do not know what the schedule is like for the last semester but I can't imagine it being much different. It is a one year program for LVNs which starts in the summer for the transition course then Fall and Spring.
