My micu interview

Published

The other day I had an interview on MICU. I don't have ICU experience but I've been a medical cardiac nurse for 8 years. I believe the interview went well. When I spoke with the recuiter before the interview she made it seem as though they were not going to hire me because of no ICU experience. I could understand that... but we all must start somewhere.

Anyway, I let one day pass after the unit interview and I didn't hear anything. The next day I called the recruiter and left a message. The recruiter called back later and left a message stating she got feedback from the unit manager but was waiting for feedback from me. She stated that when she don"t hear from a candidate it means they are not interested in the position. I'm thinking HUH? Its been less than 48hrs. If they were going to offer a position wouldn't they call? I thought I was being proactive. On top of that, I still don't know if I have an offer. What do you guys think of this? I seems odd to me. Did I get the job? Is she trying to let me down easy?
