MUSC BSN Spring 2016

Hello All!

So I plan on applying for MUSC's BSN program to start in the spring of 2016. I applied for Fall this year however I did not get in do to my lack of actual work experience in a healthcare facility. As of right now my overall GPA is a 3.5, my science GPA is a 3.25, and my pre req GPA is a 3.2. I just recently got a job as a tech at MUSC so I will hopefully have a couple of months worth of work to add to my resume and application. I also currently have 100 volunteer hours however I am beginning to volunteer at MUSC's Children Hospital in a couple weeks so hopefully by August when I actually submit my application I will have closer to 130-140 hours of volunteer hours in the healthcare setting. I was told on my first application that my essay was great as well as my references even though those were not healthcare professionals. I am very hopeful to get in this second time around. I look forward to hearing from others who plan to apply :)

Hey! I applied for Spring 2016. I had started another Spring 2016 thread and no one responded and after poking around I found yours. Have you heard anything yet? I remembered reading on past posts about a financial aid email. From reading those posts, it seemed like if you got it, you had a shot of getting in or at least on to the waiting list. It also seemed to be around this time. I have not gotten one..yet...I hope?
