Multiple Schools?

Published

Hi there

I was wondering if anyone applied to more than one school. There are two schools close to me that offer evening nursing programs (which I need), so I was going to try and get on both waiting lists. Can you do that? I have appointments with advisors at both schools next week.

Thanks!

I think it's possible. I posted a thread asking what to do if you are rejected and most of the responses were to apply to another school, so it is definitely possible. I say go for it!! Good luck to you and be blessed:wink2:

Yes, it's alright to apply to more than one school. It's often encouraged. It betters your chances of getting accepted, which is the main goal here.

Yep it's okay. I plan on applying to at least two and up to as many as 6. (1 local BSN, 2 ASN, 1LPN, and MAYBE 2 out of town BSN).

I would make sure that the schools aren't affiliated. My college and another community college are considered the same nursing program, so if you apply to both they drop the application completely. I don't remember exactly what it is, but just be careful.

Here the ADN program is offered at the community college that I'm currently attending and the university in the next town offers a BSN program. I've applied at the college and I'm still waiting on the info from the university so that I can apply there as well. All of my credits will transfer so that's a blessing.
