Mt Carmel program

Published

I'm trying to apply to get into nursing school at Mt Carmel. I just wanted to know if it was a good program for those of you who might have been through it. I spent about 2 months at Mt Carmel's NICU and got to now a lot of the nurses. They all showed so much compassion and love towards my fiance while she was there and after, that it inspired me to go in to nursing. I just don't really know where to get started though. I think I missed the deadline to get in, but I didn't know if they sometimes let the pass due to emergencies. Any help would be awesome. Thanks much.

Congrats on your decision to become a nurse! :yeah:

Mount Carmel hosts an open house where you can learn a great deal about their programs. You can also meet a college representative who can help answer your specific questions regarding the application deadline. (But I fear you are probably way too late and will have to wait until 2009.) Go to their website to find dates and times of their open houses.

Good luck!

hello! i went through mount carmel's advanced placement program. this is great if you already have been in college for a few years and are just now deciding on nursing. i was able to get my entire soph yr of nursing done in a summer. apply for this any time if you meet the requirements (classes, gpa, ect)... but if you have to go the traditional way, that is great to! the instructors are wonderful here, and very involved in personally helping you succeed. our website: www.mccn.edu. good luck!
