Nov 9, 201411 yr What are the odds of being accepted into MSMC's ADN program with no prerequisites under my belt? Have CNA experience but that's about it.
Nov 9, 201411 yr I don't know about MSMC, however, I don't think nursing schools in general would consider anyone that hasnt completed any of their pre-reqs because that's partially how they decide if you're qualified to enter into a program. They base admission on your pre-req grades along with other factors.
Nov 10, 201411 yr Author I considered that, too. I know MSMC has a pre-nursing option that allows you to take your prereqs with them, though. Was wondering if anyone has gotten in with zero completed.
Nov 10, 201411 yr Again, I doubt it. Nursing is really competitive and many people don't get in even if they've completed all their pre-reqs.
Nov 10, 201411 yr A prereq is short for prerequisite which means required. Prereqs are required classes before getting into the program otherwise it would be called a coreq. So no, it is not possible to get into the program without completing prereqs.
