I am a registered nurse in Ontario, Canada, and have been for less than a year. Prior to that, I spent 9 years working in acute care as a registered practical nurse (surgical, oncology, medical). Since obtaining my BScN I have left the bedside and now work as a school of nursing instructor. I have no interest in returning to the bedside.
I would like to obtain a master's degree. I am torn between whether or not I should aim for a master's in nursing or a masters in education? As far as career options, I am open to areas like public health, teaching, and other non-bedside roles.
What are your thoughts on MScN vs. MEd?
