MRSA question

What do you think are the best practices implemented when caring for a patient with MRSA?

is this your homework? What do YOU think? Let me give you some ideas:

Think about how MRSA spreads person to person and how you can break that chain.

Think about what MRSA can do, for example, to a wound and how you would deal with that and how you would prevent it.

Yeah, but not for me to answer. Its more my professor wants answers from nurses in the practices they use to ensure that MRSA is not transmitted from patient to patient.

Specializes in Med/Surg, DSU, Ortho, Onc, Psych.

In other words, this is homework. Your professor knows the answers. He/she wants to know what YOU think & how u have researched the question, & ur critical thinking skills, not what a bunch of strangers on the internet think.

There are many resources on MRSA.

I just googled it and got 2,840,000 hits.

No it is not. Jeez. The part of that project was to get what "expert" nurses thought were the best practices. I had to interview nurses and I thought that using a thread like this would get a lot of feedback. I already did the work I just wanted something extra. Honestly you didn't read my reply and I find it insulting in the way you are talking down to me telling me to google.
