moving to texas

I am currently an LPN in Ohio. I am looking to move to Texas. Where should I start looking for a job? Should I pay the $200 to get my license in Texas before-hand? Will I still be able to work in Ohio if I get my license in Texas and decide not to move (ie. Be licensed in both states). I don't know if I should get it in Texas before I loom for jobs or after I start talking to different places down there. Thank you

Unlike most states, Texas is very, very, very large. You'll have to be more specific as to where you're planning to live if you want useful information re: jobs.
