I am a LPN currently working in West Virginia. However, soon I am planning on moving to PA. I am curious in knowing what I need to do to be able to practice as a LPN in PA. Will I need to take the NCLEX over in PA to obtain a new license, or are there other options besides just taking the NCLEX over again? Honestly, I wouldn't mind not going through that again. Any help would be appreciated.

Contact the PA State Board of Nursing... you will find the number on the Internet...
Okay that answers a lot of my questions. However I have a couple more. Will I be able to work in both WV and Pa after getting the license to work in Pa? And I know WV and I'm assuming Pa requires nurses to do continuing education credits on every even year. Will I have to do the continuing education credits for states seperately, or what? Or will none of this apply to me because I can only be licensed to work in one state?
I'm sorry for so many questions, but I'm kinda new at this.
