Minot, ND hospitals and clinical facilities. Actually the other day a nurse told me that all of ND is looking for nurses, but I do not know how true that is... FYI, the housing is scarce in Minot, so find other NGs from outside the area to room with so that 1.) you are not alone and 2.) you have a place to live. GL!
If you don't have ties to California like KIDS, I would move out!!! The more you sit around the less desirable you will be to hire. I got into a SNF and eventually a hospital as a new grad, I pounded the pavement! It works over emails. I had a job with in a month of taking my NCLEX, I would say I followed up every application I I submitted by the time I got my first job I had 3 job offers! You have to be determined to get a job, and don't take no for an answer. Seriously!

Hi Everyone,
I was born and raised here in California and have lived here all my life. I don't want to leave, but I'm thinking about applying to other states. I have applied to several New Grad programs here, but knowing the competition, I want to be prepared in case things don't "pan out." However, I'm overwhelmed by all the different hospitals and different states that I can apply to. I was wondering if any other fellow Californians or out-of-staters know which cities or states I should look into. I just need a few places to start. I have called hospitals in Las Vegas and allover Arizona but it seems like the New Grad situation there is similar to California's. I'm thinking about investing a couple hundred dollars in getting endorsements so I am open to suggestions.
Thank you in advance!
