hey all-
I just purchased the Mosby CAT. I had access to it last year, I think, but it expired (I had surgery and just couldn't devote time to it). So I bought it again, and I have a username and password, but I keep getting an error saying 'wrong user id!' when I try to log on. normally I wouldn't worry, but when i called the company, the message said they were closed for the holiday weekend- I anticipate not getting through before Tuesday, and I *really* wanted access this weekend! i sent in a tech request form, but for some reason, I kind of remember this problem happening before. if anyone on the forum has had this type of issue and knows how to resolve it, please let me know...if I can't get online before tuesday, I'm probably going to ask for a refund. this is ridiculous!

Bad news: I just purchased this a few weeks back and I had the same thing happen. When I called the tech support line, he said, "I promise it isn't you, we always have trouble with this." They put me on hold forever, then finally said he needed to call his supervisor and asked to call me back. Finally he calls back and fixed the problem. A few days later my friend orders it, and the same thing happened to her! FYI- My friend told them she wanted a refund AND wanted access to it for the day for free (She signed up just a few days before her NCLEX and because of all the hassle could only use it the day before the test) They gave it to her. Don't these people know we are stressed out enough without them adding to our problems???? :angryfire
Actually, I didn't think the CAT was all that anyway. The Saunders CD and the Kaplan CD's were more realistic to the nclex. I took my nclex on May 16th and passed @ 75. :balloons:

Thanks so much for mentioning this...I'll definitely ask for the same thing. I have the kaplan and saunders cd's as well, and springhouse, mosby and lippencott to boot! I figured the CAT would be a good benchmark to check my progress, since it's actually adaptive. Good to hear you thought it wasn't all that- I won't stress if I don't have it over the weekend.
Grats on your score! Keep your fingers crossed for me on June 6th!

I read that it was just like the NCLEX from a posting on this site and the person said that they completed thier real NCLEX in 45 minutes, got 75 questions and was even bored. AHHHH!

call them and ask for a test ID- they have to enter the info in manually, and they don't work weekends! I pitched a hissy fit with them and said they needed to put a disclaimer on the website- I mean, come on! You buy an online product, you expect it to be processed automatically...they certainly can charge your credit card automatically!
That being said, I found it pretty helpful...took 3 practice tests before i took the NCLEX, and my high CAT scores with Mosby restored my confidence after having nothing above 80 on the Kaplan CD tests. So I'd do it again...I'd just call to process the order.
And whatever I did must have worked...found out two hours ago that I PASSED!!!
