Montefiore SON

hi everyone! Attended Montefiore's info session yesterday. Formerly known as Dorothea Hopfer School of Nursing. Admn staff were helpful, student ambassadors were encouraging but realistic. Was advised to study for the TEAS and get a reference letter to finalize the app process. Apps are due 3/14/14 to anyone who's still interested. However, the next info session will not be until next month (it's scheduled once a month). Financial aid is not available yet (they're in the process of getting it tho) but they do have loans available w/ 3.86% int.rate and no interest til 6 months after graduating OR a 5 month installment plan w/ no interest if paid on time. The total expenses (tuition, fees, uniform, books, etc) will be approximately $25K for the whole 2 yr program.

Any Montefiore SON grads or current students' recommendation or advice are greatly appreciated! thanx in advance :)
