Anyone attending this school, or their nursing program? If you are, what can I expect as an applicant, and how competitive is it? What can I expect the tuition to be like, and does Molloy give their students any money?
I'm currently a student at lag comm college with a 2.8 cumulative. Would have been in the 3s but I failed algebra and trig first semester back to school. I need to rebuild my math foundation. I'm not bad at math, just rusty. Everything else is good though. I'm taking Anatomy & Physiology 1 this semester, and got a 90 on my recent test which I'm pretty happy. Just bought an A&P coloring book off amazon as a tool to help get a good grade.
Anyway, enough rambling. I planned on going the ADN route with Laguardia, but their program recommends a 3.8 minimum gpa. I'm at a 3.7 program gpa so I probably won't make the cut. I do plan on getting my BSN, so I figured why not just transfer to a 4 year like Molloy or Farmingdale instead of wasting energy for a lesser degree, that requires a higher gpa?
