I've heard that they're fairly competitive.. It seems that they look at everything, not just grades (my GPA is low by the standards of the board- over 3.0, but def. not a 3.6).
I've read that about 100 people apply, 80 are interviewed, and 40 are accepeted in the program. Today, while waiting to interview, when asked how many people they are interviewing, they told me over 100. I was interviewed by 2 faculty members, which asked me pretty basic questions.
Nope, nothing.
How did you hear that they were sent out?
I'm enrolled in pharmacology through MU Direct and because you have to be admitted into the nursing program before they grant you permission, I figured that they'd drop me by now if I wasn't accepted? The scholarship dept. also e-mailed me today to let me know that I filled out the wrong scholarship application (I didn't see one specifically for accelerated nursing so I just filled out the transfer application), so they filled out a new one for me that was for the accelerated nursing program. I'm hoping that they wouldn't go through all of that trouble if I wasn't accepted.
This is me rambling and getting my hopes up.

Has anyone else applied? Does anyone know what the application/interview process is like? Any information at all about the accelerated program would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
