now we are a military fam and may be stationed in Milwaukee , my questions are the following

1. Good Hospitals to work for?

2. Pay , to reference I make 38/hr now base if I won't make a that as bedside I don't have issues applying for management positions

3. Good areas to move too , budget is around 350-400k?

I can't answer most of your questions, but I did a travel contract at Froedtert and had a great experience. It was a very impressive hospital, but I worked on the neuro unit, so the ED is a different world.

Milwaukee is one of the lowest paying areas in Wisconsin for nursing. It had a reputation for being the only area still hiring after the recession and half of my graduating class ended up employed there. You will likely make no where near 38 dollars an hour. Fortunately, the cost of living is fairly modest. I don't know it well enough to recommend a neighborhood.

Froedtert is the Level 1 trauma center, if that's what you're looking for. However, with Aurora Sinai being that last remaining inner city hospital, it gets plenty of trauma through it's ED doors.

I don't know about ED pay rates but don't be afraid to ask for $38/hr, they aren't going to laugh you out of the building.

If you want to live in the suburbs, everyone told me to live in "Tosa" when I was moving here earlier this year, which is actually Wauwatosa. However, I wanted to live downtown so I moved to the Historic Third Ward and I love it.

Best wishes!
