Microbiology

I start this class on Monday. Does it involve math?

Featured Replies

I never had to do any math in Microbiology. Maybe in lab if we had to calculate something but it would be simple adding and subtracting. We also had to measure the size of areas of bacterial growth.

Thank God! Chemistry totally drained me this past semester!

LOL! You will see lots of different things on microbiology on this site. My class was a pretty easy A with lots of busy work between labs and homework. Don't let it scare you too bad! Hope it goes well for you!

Memorization is something that I can do well! I will not be taking lab this summer and as of now, lab is all filled for this fall. However, I am on a waiting list to see if someone drops it. If not, I will take it in the spring of 2012.

Wow it is crazy how much schools can differ in the way they do things. In my school you are automatically enrolled in the lab when you take the lecture. You have to take them together in order to get credit. That applies for all of the science classes.

I had to take tab along with my science classes as well. In fact, they were together.

My micro class involved some math.

I attend a university and the university has seven branches. I attend two of the branches. The branch that I am taking Micro at does not offer lab because it only offers the BSN and they don't require lab. The branch that I am getting my ADN requires lab. Talk about crazy!!
