Hello,
I am registered for a Valley Anesthesia course and I already have an old version of memory master that my friend gave to me. I was wondering if anyone has the flash cards if they like them, and are they worth buying???
Thanks so much.

The people I have talked to that recently graduated said that the memory master as well as the cards were very useful in studying for their exam. Some even said that a few of the questions came directly (almost word for word) from the cards/memory master. I know they are expensive, especially on top of the fees for the Valley Review course itself. A couple of us in my class got together and decided to split the cost for the cards and share them amongst ourselves. By the way, which review are you going to?

I liked the cards for their easy portability. I could take them to clinicals and study during down time. I also was able to weed out questions/content that I knew well, leaving behind the cards that I needed to focus on during preparing for boards.

Personally, I would not spend the money on new cards. When I took the test, my study partner and I focused exclusively on the sweat book and both passed the test in 90 questions. Focus on the fundamentals, memory master gets to entrenched in minutia.
