New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
-according to some posts I've read in this forum the applicant is required to sign in the CV...not the employer.

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
these questions popped into my head after back-reading some pages in this thread last week but apparently they are outdated because of the merging of AU nursing boards(July 1).....thanks for your replies cioman :) I'll wait for other members to further clarify this method.....

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
thanks for clarifying this query..... I need to strive hard to be promoted as a staff nurse for now I need to focus more on my immunizations and IELTS) correct me if I'm wrong, the AHPRA eligibility letter is good for 2 years (I'm planning to take my IELTS after sending my document s to the NWBA and my IELTS is good for 2 years also) I'm doing this method just in case I didn't get the all 7 scores in one sitting (most of my friends did not get the target score of 7 in the writing part)....assuming -oh and about the salary part I don't mind starting from the bottom.....as long as i'm in AU is fine with me...

...even if I have no nursing experience? (currently I'm on a trainee status for 1 month in a tertiary hospital) P.S : do AHPRA/employers in AU count work experience as a nursing assistant (puzzled in my mind I don't remember anyone posted this question)

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
hello everyone! i'm done backreading the partial part of the thread from pages 300 up to the lastest page. i am aware that there are new changes that commenced last july 1 2010. I've already downloaded necessary forms in this venture and i am quite confused regarding some of these instances: 1. Under the new rules from the AHPRA-NWBA, are we allowed to submit the application forms even without the IELTS results? (just in case they received my papers then i will take the IELTS exam) 2. For CRICOS BP providers there is a higher chance to get a 457(676) visa unlike with non-CRICOS BP providers i'll end up with a 456 visa am i right? any updates. 3. About the CV part, as of now i don't have working expierience but next week i will undergo a hospital training for 2 months then if possible it will lead to employment. am I allowed to indicate my current expierience in the CV? no more need for statutory declaration? (as discussed in the CV format from AHPRA under gaps in work) correct me if I'm wrong 4. About the AGOS application form: -some of the questions here are AU related, is is ok to answer them by indicating N/A or other/s [confused with questions # 6,7,11(is certificate of good standing sufficient),13,16(IELTS?),17,18,20,] 5. about the immunizations: is it allowed to provide a photocopy of my baby book (signed by my doctor) or am i required to have a form/check-list (signed by my doctor) right now i'm leaning towards to the BP rather than conversion....at first i am confused on what to do but upon backreading this thread it shed some light to all questions lingering my head. Thanks!

-let me clarify this so if I took the conversion program for 2 years I am not required to get an overall score of 7 in the IELTS? If this is possible? (lenient AU universities)....

so it is the same as the BSN undergraduate course here in the PH....at least i have a clear idea on what to expect in AU....unlike here in the PH my chances are 50/50 (transition from volunteer to employed nurse in a tertiary hospital) BTW i expect a walk in the dessert during my BP or conversion .....but in the end i will see an oasis in the dessert (success!)

---since you mentioned about failing the BP, what are the grounds/reasons for failing the BP? I need some clarification about this. Thanks!
