Medical Express

I have been traveling with Cross Country for over a year and have had no problems. I also have a recruiter at Med Express. Although I haven't used them they have been very easy to reach and very professional when I do talk to them. There are horror stories about every company; some people like larger companies, some people like smaller companies. Use your gut instinct when you talk to them, if you have a bad feeling find someone else. Unfortunately you may not find out until your first assignment how well they will work for you.

There is a bulletin board at Delphiforums.com for travel nurses that will give you a lot of good advice. :)

Have any of you worked for this agency? Were you satisfied?

Please...I'm just getting bombarded with offers since I posted my resume; can you all tell me which agencies are "the best?"

The reason I contacted Medical Express was because I knew a nurse that worked for them and thought they were very good.

I'd like some recommendations, and *warnings* in advance.

I am currently working for them and I'm having a horrible experience. Seems like they are screwing me out of money every chance they get. In short, they are American Mobile under another name. They call themselves a "sister" company but everything but the recruiting of nurses is handled by American Mobile. If you want to know about American Mobile just search American Mobile on this site. Medical Express is American Mobile. Wolf in sheeps clothing ultimately.
