I would like to find out about other schools other than the one I am attending now, that can give me college credit class in Intermediate Algebra and Anatomy & Physiology. The college I am attending now goes so fast I can't learn it. I received a D in it. A D around here is the biggest sin you can commit.

At my school Intermediate Algebra is a high school class and not available for college credit. I am taking it now. Did you get a D and A&P also? If you got D's in both classes I would look into tutoring. My school has tons of math tutors. And if you get D's at my school you fail the class. Tutoring is about all I can offer unless you find a completely different school in your area and even then, the grades from your old school will follow.

Good day:

Most schools that I'm aware of require a minimum of a C to accept credits from another accredited institution.

Thank you.

Are you maybe placed in too high of a math? Maybe re-test, and get into the next one down, so that you can succeed.

Being a financial aid student I am well aware that D is a fail. I did not take algebra in high school. Actually I have never taken algebra until now.

Good day, olivia60:

If you've not had algebra before, then intermediate algebra (as you found out) would be too high a level to start. Does your college have beginning algebra courses? Have you talked to your adviser as to what they recommend?

Thank you.
