medical assisting

I have my diploma in medical assisting and I am certifed. I also have BS in community Health. I am looking for a job using my skills as MA (even though the facility may call the position something else). Would anyone know in the St. Louis area which facilities (including hospitals) use MA's?

Thanks

Hi carlarenee02, I think the facilities that mostly use MA's is clinics and Dr. Offices. You can work in the front office or the back. You shouldn't have any problems getting a job in those area's and since you are certified and got a BS, you should make desent money. I live in Kansas City and that is not far from you so I would think that you have just as much chance to land a good job as a MA as anyone else.
