i was thinking about going to a med tech class i spoke to two schools one said i have to take the cna class then take the med tech the other one said i don't have to have cna experience to become a med tech,so i was just wondering do i really have to become a cna first then take the med tech class?

This depends on the state where you plan to work as a medication tech.

In the state where I reside, only certified CNAs are eligible to attend medication aide training programs to become certified medication aides.
