Hi I have just started my accelerated bsn program and I am really excited about it. However, I am aware that I need to pass my med math exam as a requirement. Problem is I am extremely bad at math and I am starting to get a little nervous. I have taken math classes as requirements for my first undergraduate degree but it has always been a struggle for me. I also have had bad experiences with math and chemistry tutors due to their lack of patience when tutoring me and I did worse because of their negative attitude. But I have always managed to pass with a B- or C. I really don't want to have a tutor and I want to do this on my own and get an A. I recieved my required med math book today through the mail and it has practice quizzes. Any advice from any nursing students on how I can pass this med math exam successfully? :) Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. By the way I love this website. :[anb]:

From what I recall, the calculations were really not that difficult once you got the hang of the formulas (which honestly were not that many). Practice practice practice was key.
If you do a little Googling, there are many sites that can give you some extra help, this is how I was able to fill in the gaps.
Good luck!
