Does anyone have a template for med cards?
Or do you know any online program that I could
Use for free? Or otherwise to do med cards to save time
flipping through the drug book and writing?
I have to write it or type it (customized) Therefore I cannot use the printed ones I bought!!!
Thank you

ususally the drug books come with a CD where you can download and copy and paste the information to a word document and paste on index cards.

We have to write ours on 5x7 cards. We have to have on them the name brand/generic name of the drug. Dose and route, MOA, classification, side affects, considerations, and nurse teachingings.

Did the instructors explain that the reason for this is to help you remember the information? :) It really does help (especially during tests). The more repetition you can do, the more you will retain. It really does help in the long run. I know it's a pain, but getting all of that information to 'stick' takes more than copying something and taping it to a card
WOW. We could only use 4x6 at the biggest. :) They could be front and back, but no bigger. A lot of us would have loved more space :)
