MDS NURSE

Hi everyone, I am new to allnurses.com I look forward to getting to know you and discussing topics. I am a LPN. I have been a LPN for 13 years. I worked in pediatrics, ob/gyn, home health and the last 8 yrs as a charge nurse in LTC. I just transferred to another position at my current job to a MDS coordinator. Does anyone have any tips or advice on helping me become successful in this area? I have a RAI manual that I reference to. I do not have MDS experience but I am being trained and its a lot to learn. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance..
