MDF vs. Littman

I am going to start nursing school in the fall, and I have heard good things about both brands of stethoscopes! Just wanted another opinion!

    to be completely honest i don't own either brand but I have worked with both of them and to be honest, Littman is my favorite, MDF is just way too heavy,after 8 hours of clinicals the neck hurts. I wouldn't recommend the littman lightweight either, i think that the classic III is perfect

    After my experiences with MDFs and Littman, I would say either go Littman Classic or MDF One. Both stethoscopes are great and I do not notice any distinct difference. At that point, it is just preference. Maybe I'd choose based off color options?
