MDC Nursing Fall 2014

With deadline approaching, i figuered i'd start a forum on MDC's Fall 2014 semester.

  • Just curious on how many students have applied to the RN- generic, accelerated, FT, PT; Transitional FT or online for Fall 2014?
  • What's your overall GPA as well as your NLN scores ??

Please feel free to comment so others can reply and clear some minds

  • Also, I heard the school is modifying the FALL term only, by allowing those who have tested and didnt meet the required 106 points? Any one knows more about that

Hi! I took the ATI test in March and got 104 so I was told that I was not eligible to apply which really broke my heart since I had previously applied to the prior program with the TEAS exam and they didnt except me for the program. I received an email from MDC stating that they had modified the program req for the fall only and that I was eligible to apply. Myall cum gpa is 3.06...I really hope that they accept me this time...I was really excitec when I received that email. I applied for both Full time and part time...

How about you? Have you applied? ATI score?

Hope to hear from you soon.

That's great news! After all you may have a chance this time around! What program are you applying to? Generic or bridge? By the way what's your science gpa? But 104 was pretty close and giving you the chance to apply it's a great opportunity.

what score did you get when you first took the teas?

I have a 3.0 in science but I applied to the bridge as I am an LPN!

Thanks for the respond

I applied for generic...if I calculated my grades correctly my science gpa is 2.71. Not my strong suit...but Im hoping I get in this time around...I believe I got a 78% on my Teas.

Congrats on a good science gpa!

Just need to do my drug screening at school.... Has anyone done it yet? Is it like the blood work that takes a week to come back or can I get my results right away??? Thank you xoxo Paola ??

There is another forum with plenty of people there that may be able to answer your question. It's way more active than this one.
