is anybody down to study for the hesi. maybe we can meet in mdc medical campus library.

Hi Everyone!

I just applied on March 30th. My HESI exam score was 89.71%. My GPA is between science courses is a 3.3 so I am pretty worried about that ruining my chances. I used the Hesi A2 review book and though i didn't study as hard as I should have, I believe it helped.

I received a 92% in math, reading, and grammar. A 96% in vocabulary, 84% in chemistry and a&p, and and 88% in biology.

How do you know the average of other students who have taken the hesi?

What type of questions did they ask in anatomy and physiology. I heard it was nothing that the book had.

And people who took the hesi already know the average of others by checking your Elsevier account.

I remember them asking which part of the brain was responsible for respiration and another asking which part of the brain was responsible for temperature regulation. I specifically remembered going over that form the hesi book right before the exam. I did so well in biology as opposed to there other sciences because that's what I studied the most for. The elsevier company sent me the book super last minute. They asked what kind of joint was the elbow and knee. They asked what bones were in your forearm. They asked what pulse was behind the knee. They asked about the artery that supplies the kidney. They also asked about the content of plasma and what blood component carries oxygen.

Also know the anatomy of the urinary system. They asked about that too.

Not sure exactly where, since i still havent taken the exam.

Hi everyone. I applied for generic part time 3 weeks ago. I hot 83 on the hesi and I have 3.7 GPA on science. The hesi was not that hard but I only study from the hesi book and there is a low of thing not covered by the book in the science part, the English and math portion is the same as the book. I am planing to retake the test at the end of this month to see if I can improve my score.
