Hello, I recently applied to the accelerated nursing program at mchps manchester campus for Fall 2009. They sent me a letter saying that I meet all the requirements to get into the program, but due to the high amount of applicants i will be placed on a waiting list. I filled out the form and sent it back. I jus wanna know is there a good chance of me getting into the program?

I don't think there is really any way to know. MGIHP, anecdotally at least, places virtually everyone who meets minimum requirements on their waitlist. Simmons, on the other hand, does not have a waitlist for Direct Entry.
For me it's easier to treat a waitlist as a rejection and move on. I've been waitlisted twice in my life--nursing school and law school--and was called for neither. Just don't box yourself in case you get the call!

Has anyone else had this same experience? I am also applying for fall 2009- ( I haven't submitted my application yet) and was wondering how competitive this program was? This is the only school I am applying to for this coming semester.Thanks.
The Boston area accelerated programs are very competitive. UMass and MGHIHP both had 10X more applicants than they had seats for. I think Curry is probably in that range now too since they received many more applications this year than last. I haven't heard anything about MCPHS but I don't see how it could be that much different.
