Hi All,
I applied for the LPN to RN program at Massasoit for Sept 2015. Does anyone know when we will hear from them. Also does anyone know what the schedules are like?!
Thank You:)

I think we should hear back late April early May:(. The schedule does vary by semester; so it can be either 8-10am or 10-12noon based on semester. Unfortunately, we don't get to choose which time slot we want to go in because it is done by semester.
So on my quest to find more info about MCC RN program, I ended up by accident on BCC page/thread. It seem that they use the same Degree Works program that MCC uses, and based on their posting; your major changes before you actually get the acceptance/waitlist letter. Not sure if the same thing applies to MCC students but I guess it doesn't help to check it once in a while as it gets closer to Mid April. Hope this helps

I applied for the full time day program, and I did hear from a few past students the letters go out the end of april/beginning of may....longest wait of my life!! I only applied to MCC so all my eggs are in one basket...eeek!! I do know that the degree works thing is true, a lot people said their major changed on there before they got their letter! GOOD LUCK!!

I wanted to apply to MCC LPN to RN evening program but I missed the deadline. Did you guys try applying to other LPN-RN programs like RCC, Quincy College, Lawrence Memorial/Regis, Laboure, and Salem State? I have only applied to Roxbury Community College and Laboure so far. I like Laboure because they give LPN's a scholarship towards all professional nursing courses.

Hi All, I too applied for Massasoit LPN to RN day program, I have already been accepted to Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. I paid the security deposit but will take Massasoit if accepted! The waiting is killing me!!
Does brockton hospital school of nursing have lpn to rn?! bummer wish I knew.
Yes they do but, very expensive thats why i'm hoping for massasoit
Stay positive. Even if you don't get in there is a wait list. 11 people are wait listed for each program (Day, evening, lpn-rn) You would be amazed at how many don't let MCC know that they decline and it really is last minute. Some have gotten a call a week before classes.
BHSN is a great school, they have a great program and reputation. It is just really expensive. I am in second semester, both of which my clinical has been at BH. We use their classrooms (BHSN) sometimes during clinical nights. I will keep my fingers crossed that everyone gets accepted!!

Spoke to admissions this morning and was told that letters wont be sent out until the MID May and not late April early May. I'm surmising that its because of the snow, at least I'm hoping that its the snow, and not that they got a lot more applicants.
