Feb 22, 20206 yr Has anyone else applied for the fall of 2020 full time program? How’d you do on your teas? Are you feeling confident with your rubric scores? I’m so nervous!!
Feb 24, 20206 yr Hey! I am so glad you posted about this, I have been driving myself crazy wondering the same thing! Haha Depending on the essay I would be between a 62-63. I got a 72 on my TEAS (only took it the one time.) I’m worried it won’t be enough ? I did apply for fall 2020 full-time also.
Feb 24, 20206 yr Author I feel like that’s a good rubric score! I’m sure you have a great chance of getting in. I am regretting not retaking my math, because I don’t have any points for it on my rubric! Did you apply anywhere else?
Feb 24, 20206 yr Thank you! That just made my day hahaha. For the math, I took stats last summer in order to apply with that grade because I wanted a higher point to go toward the rubric. After I heard they might not take stats anymore because of the course number changes I took I intermediate algebra just to cover my base. I got an A in both ( the professor I took was AMAZING) I would highly recommend him. If you don’t mind me asking what did you get on your TEAS and rubric?
Feb 24, 20206 yr Author Ohh if I don’t get in then I will be retaking my math! I got a 79 on my teas (I was devastated when I didn’t get that extra point!) and probably only around a 55 on my rubric. I’m worried to say the least.
Feb 24, 20206 yr GIRL THAT TEAS SCORE IS AMAZING. I would have been frustrated too by that one point but for real, you did a great job!! If I remember correctly when I went to the info session, I wrote down the numbers 55 and like 60. But I can’t remember which number referred to which ( the number on the rubric they start looking at vs. how many people they let into the program.) when I get home I’ll send you a picture of my notepad haha and see what sense you can make out of it. Also, to answer your question from earlier, I have only applied to Massasoit at this point but I’m taking gen chem chem currently because it’s the last pre requisite I need to apply to Curry. Their program has a deadline of July 1st so that’s my back up plan!
Feb 25, 20206 yr Author Thanks! That test is definitely difficult! Crossing my fingers we hear soon!!
Mar 2, 20206 yr Hi :) I also applied for the fall 2020 program. But I applied for the Lpn to RN..is this thread for lpn’s?
Mar 3, 20206 yr Hi! I applied for the full time days program. Has anyone gotten an update from admissions? Looking at past threads it seems they usually send out their acceptance letters very late. Does anyone have an idea of what rubric score admitted students have gotten in the past?I got a 78 on my TEAS and I have a 59-64 on my rubric (depending how how I did on my essay.... Anyone know how they grade that?)Good luck to all!
Mar 3, 20206 yr @jamie724 I am not an LPN but I bet if anyone searches fall 2020 LPN or RN program they could see this thread! And maybe we could help each other with questions. @JD86 I have no heard anything from admissions, would it be acceptable if I called today to get an update on when letters are being sent out? I did see on the thread for 2019 that it took until mid May for the students to get an answer! (eek haha) I am not sure how they grade the essay, I was hoping mine was good enough to hopefully get a 4 or 5?!

Did you apply to part time or full time? I don’t think I can handle waiting til may!
Mar 4, 20206 yr Hi, I applied to the FT LPN to RN program. I heard upwards of 150 people applied and typically there's only an average of 10-12 slots available..eeek!! I know I can't wait either, so nervous! Good luck :)
Mar 4, 20206 yr I called admissions today, because I have a physical next week and I know they need all of your vaccinations up to date and I couldn't find a list on their website of which ones they require prior to classes starting. (Getting ahead of myself, I know but I would really rather just get stuff done while I'm already there.)The woman I spoke to said they won't be deciding until this semester ends. In May. ? Waiting that long is going to be hard.If anyone is interested in which vaccines they are looking for: Tdap, hep B, varicella, MMR, flu, and a PPD
