Has anyone received acceptance from Marymount for the Spring 2014 program yet?

Has anyone heard anything yet?

My friend called them, we should be expecting something in mail this Friday... (Oct 18)

I received my letter of acceptance today. Good luck to everyone else waiting (:

Dang it took a while but I just got my letter of acceptance today!

In my notification letter it states that I am accepted for fall 2014, I just have to finish my prerequisites this fall. Were all of your prerequisites complete before you applied?

I was taking A&P2 over the past two months but I finished everything else. I applied when I was still taking A&P2 but Marymount didn't ask me for midterm grades or anything, but I guess they knew that I was gonna finish it before the spring semester starts.

Hi everyone! I just got my acceptance the other day too :) I'm still realistically trying to figure out finances and if it will be worth it in the end vs going to another in-state school. Has anyone known new nurses who have recently been hired in the area? I want to end up around DC and have heard it's really a good way to get your foot in the door by doing clinical vs applying from the outside.

Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

@Caramarie -- I know a couple of nurses who have gotten jobs that have graduated from Marymount. I work with one of them on my floor and she graduated in the last couple years. Both nurses though were techs before they went to nursing school though, so that's something to think about.

Hi everyone! Congrats on your acceptance to Marymount!

I'm a student who's currently struggling to get into nursing school - I would really like to attend marymount for various reasons and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some of their background information, what their grades/GPA looked like, what they did to make their applications more competitive, and any additional tips on getting in! Anything at all would be helpful!

Thanks :)
