Hi everyone. I had a few questions regarding the CEP program that maybe some of you would know...
1) As far as placement goes, do the universities have a say in whether or not you get placed for CEP? I was told that as long as you outrank the other applicants with your Maricopa school of choice, and meet the requirements for the university, you get in... On the other hand, I was told by an ASU adviser that with CEP, they only select people with 3.7 GPA and above?! I'm very confused. Please help!
2) If you got accepted into the CEP program, what were your school choices and what was your score?
Thank you! ?

I've never been told I'd have to have a 3.7 so I hope that's not true I'm close but I wont hit that. Why would their gpa requirement be at 3.0 if their gonna require 3.7 let's hope that was just someone not relaying information correctly

The CEP has 2-fold requirements & Maricopa decides. You must fulfill the requirements for BOTH Maricopa Nursing & the school(s) you want for the CEP. Maricopa submits your requirements to the CEP partner school to confirm you meet requirements, then Maricopa selects. Meet with a Maricopa Nursing advisor to get the fine print. I did the info session at Mesa this past week & it was VERY helpful. Answered all my questions, plus any additional I had during & after the info session.
Side note: Plan to apply to multiple schools & programs. Each cohort has different statistics & what may not get you in the 1st time, might be enough for the 2nd time.

I have been looking into this program, but also the post-bac BSN, as I already have a BSW. It looks like CEP requires 3.0 GPA, but I did see something about needing a 3.5 for specifically the A&P, Chm, and microbio, but that may have been for the post-bac program. I'm going to a info session today and had been wondering about that if they allow you to put down second and third options.
