Many things to consider... but is it worth it?

Hello everyone,

I have decided to become a nurse. I have applied for both nursing diploma and degree program. I am interested in degree program although but, i will be happy if i get admission into diploma program, i don't have any problem.The reason i am prefering degree program is, if i am not wrong degree program leads to many other opportunities to grow careerwise as with diploma one is stuck unless he/she is willing to spend some more years to get their nursing degree. Please correct me if i am wrong. Also please know that i am not offending anyone. I find myself confused at times choosing between these two programs. I need your guidance please. One question is it difficult to get a job even having nursing diploma/degree if one is over 35/40 yrs old. I would really appreciate your feedback in this matter. Thank you in advance.
