Magnet facility

MY hospital just recently gained magnet status. I personally am just bursting at the seams when I think of it, maybe it is just a lot of hype. Just wondering if any nurses have felt an advantage by working at a magnet facility? I mean resume' wise or anything? Just curious.

My hospital has been magnet for 4 years now. I love where I work; I feel like our standards are higher than other hospitals in the area may be. I don't know if it would really make much of a difference on a resume though.

ETA: our ratios are also better than the non-magnet hospitals.

never worked in a magnet facility - but if I were job hunting I would consider that at least this facility is TRYING to attract good employees, PPO contracts, etc.
